Terms of Service —The House Rules Behind Every Chat Avenue Room
Last updated: 2026-10-15
The agreement between you and Chat Avenue, written in plain English. If a rule decides whether a room stays worth visiting, it lives on this page.
These Terms of Service apply to Chat Avenue — the website at chatavenue.cc and everything inside it: the public chat rooms, one-on-one stranger chat, video conversations, coins, and purchases. They work together with our Privacy Policy, which covers how your information is handled, and the two documents form the whole agreement between us. The moment you open a room or start a chat, you accept both. If anything here does not sit right with you, the respectful move is simply not to use the site.
1. Who Can Chat Here
Chat Avenue is open to people who have reached the legal age of adulthood in the country or region where they live. By entering a room you confirm that you meet that requirement, and that no previous ban from the platform applies to you. Where we have reason to doubt it, we may ask you to confirm your age or restrict access.
If you create an account, it is yours alone. Guard your login, do not sell or lend the account to anyone, and never hand it to someone who does not meet the age requirement. Activity that happens through your login is your responsibility, so if you suspect someone else has access, tell us immediately.
2. What Chat Avenue Provides — and What It Never Promises
Chat Avenue is a free chat room service: pick a public room and talk to whoever is around, or let the site match you with one stranger for a private conversation that can move to video. Most of it works in the browser without registration, so the door genuinely is open before you commit to anything.
Two honest limits, stated up front. First, we run the rooms and the matching — we do not verify the identity of the people you meet, endorse what they say, or sit inside your conversations. Second, who is online depends on the time of day, your connection, and your device, so we do not promise a lively room at 4am, a match within any particular time, or a video call of any particular quality. Features may be added, changed, or retired as the product grows, and no feature is guaranteed forever or without interruption.
3. The Red Lines in Every Room
A chat room only stays alive if strangers feel safe walking into it, so these rules apply in every public room, every private chat, and every video call on Chat Avenue. Do not:
- Harass, threaten, or pile onto someone — in a room or after they have left the conversation
- Screenshot, record, or repost another person without their clear permission
- Drop anyone's private details in a room — real name, address, school, workplace, phone number
- Ask other users for money, gift cards, crypto, or payments off the platform
- Ask for passwords, verification codes, or card details — our team will never do this in a chat
- Impersonate another chatter, a public figure, or Chat Avenue staff
- Flood rooms with spam, bots, scrapers, or automated scripts, or probe the site for weaknesses
- Use any room for something unlawful where you live, or to involve a minor in any way whatsoever
The everyday habits behind these red lines — what to share, what to keep to yourself, when to walk away from a conversation — are laid out in our chat room safety guide. It is a five-minute read that makes every room better.
4. Free Chat, Coins and Payments
Chat Avenue is free to enter and free to start: the public rooms cost nothing, and your first match is free, so you can have a real one-on-one conversation without paying anything. That free allowance is limited, it can change, and it is not a promise of unlimited free use.
Longer or premium sessions can use coins. The price of a package and what it includes are always shown in the product before you pay, and that display is what governs — we deliberately do not fix figures in this page because they change over time. Payments are processed by third-party providers; we never store your full card details ourselves.
- Coins are a licence to use features inside Chat Avenue — not money, not a deposit, and not transferable to another user or another site.
- Coins carry no cash value, except where applicable law says otherwise.
- Completed purchases and consumed sessions are generally non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or the purchase page expressly says so.
- Fraudulent payments, or chargebacks raised without contacting support first, may lead to the order being reversed and the account being restricted.
5. Moderation, Reports and Blocks
Every room and every private chat carries report and block controls. Blocking cuts contact between you and the other person immediately. Reporting sends the context to our moderation team, and a human being — not just a script — reviews what comes in. Depending on what a review finds, enforcement can be a warning, a limit on specific features, removal from rooms, a suspension, or a permanent ban. Serious cases may be referred to the appropriate authorities, and we cooperate with lawful requests where we are required to.
6. Your Content and the Screenshot Reality
You keep ownership of whatever you type, send, or show. By posting it on Chat Avenue you grant us the licence needed to transmit and display it so the service can function — nothing broader than that.
One truth no chat platform can engineer away: the person on the other side of a conversation can capture what you share — a screenshot of the chat, a screen recording of the call, a second phone pointed at the display. Treat everything you show in a room or a private chat as potentially permanent, and share nothing you would not want to outlive the conversation.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Chat Avenue is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work hard to keep the rooms fast and the site stable, but we do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or any particular social outcome — including who ends up in a room with you or how a conversation goes.
We do not vouch for the identity, conduct, or intentions of other users, and meeting strangers online carries risk that no platform removes entirely. To the maximum extent the law allows, Chat Avenue is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for what other users do. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Leaving, Suspension and Termination
You can stop using Chat Avenue at any moment — close the tab and you are gone — and you can ask us to delete your account through our contact page. On our side, we may suspend or end access where these terms are broken, where the law requires it, or where leaving an account active would put other chatters at risk. Unused coins are generally not refunded when an account is removed for a violation.
9. Disputes and Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the entity operating Chat Avenue is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where mandatory consumer-protection law in your own jurisdiction gives you stronger rights, nothing here takes those rights away.
Before filing anything formal, contact support and give us the chance to sort it out — most issues resolve faster that way, and a real person reads every message.
10. Changes to These Terms
These terms evolve as the product does. When an update is material, we revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and make reasonable efforts to make the change visible. Continuing to use Chat Avenue after an update takes effect means accepting the revised terms.
11. How to Reach Us
Questions about these terms, about a moderation decision, or about a charge you do not recognise all go to the same place: the Chat Avenue contact page, or write to us at support[at]chatavenue.cc. One inbox covers everything, and it is staffed by humans.
